In fact all of these answers are wrong. Why? Because it's a fact that different mood rings have different color meanings. I have 3 mood rings and one of them, the one i just bought recently says the following -
Black:Angry
Brown:Rebellious
Light green:Romantic
Green:Passionate
Light blue:Calm
Blue:Happy
Purple:Stressed
Pink:Anxious
Plus my other ones says all the opposites plus usually have nothing to do with my new one!

i just got a mood ring for my bday and the chart that came w/it says:blu= happy jubilant cheerful playful, lite blu=perplexed confused suspicious, lite greenish=calm relaxed tranquil quiet, orange=alert paranoid uneasy, brown= anxious rattled worried, red= nervous fidgety excited, black= tense angry stressed.

but its really weird cuz it doesnt hav yellow or purple… but i hav purple ALL the time :]
