* Mood ring color meanings
Posted on December 4th, 2008 by color-chart. Filed under Color Charts, Color Theory.
Do You have a mood ring and are looking for mood ring color meanings. Knowing your mood ring color meanings helps to understand what the colors mean when your mood ring changes color. Do you know what your mood ring colors mean. The colors of mood rings are said to change depending on your mood but have you ever wondered how they work? Have you ever wondered where mood rings came from?
Mood rings first became popular during the late 1970s, and they seem to come around on a regular basis. The thought behind mood rings is actaully quite simple, as you wear it on your finger, it will reflect emotions. The mood ring stone will be a dark blue color if you are happy, and turns to a very dark black color if you are feeling anxious or feeling stressed. While mood rings cannot really show your mood with real scientific accuracy, they are indicators of your bodys physical reaction to your emotional mood.
A mood ring stone is most often hollow glass, filled with thermotropic liquid crystals, or sometimes a clear glass stone above of a thin sheet of liquid crystals. These crystal are very sensitive, they change their position, or can twist, according to changes in temperature and atmosphere. This change affects the light that is absorbed or reflected by the crystals, resulting in change of the color of the mood ring stone.
The inner part of the mood ring conducts heat from the finger your wearing it onto the liquid crystals in the mood stone. Green, which represents an average in the mood ring color chart is synchronised with the surface temperature of an average person, around 82 degrees Fahrenheit. If the surface temperature of your skin variates away from the normal temerature, the crystals in the mood ring stone change to create a change in the color reflected through the glass of the mood ring. If you off the mood ring, it will typically change back to black.
Knowing your mood ring color meanings greatly increases the enjoyment of your moodring but may not actually reflect your actual mood.

* Black is usually associated with negativity but in my own spiritual path, I find it also relates to any time that the Feminine Divine Energies are present. Some attributes of a black mood ring color that are negative would be if you were overworked, nervous about something, physically under par, etc. Be your own best judge. If it turns black during a time when you are feeling extraordinarily connected, benevolent and aware, then I'd say that's the Divine Feminine influence and certainly not negative.
* Red is the color of passion and of anger. It can also represent energized action, an adventuresome spirit or major excitement over something that is happening or about to happen in your life.
* Yellow is the color associated with mental processes, and with the ego self, or personality self as it is sometimes called. Yellow could occur when studying for a test, thinking hard about a problem or struggling with insecurity and/or puffed up pride.
* Green is the color of living plants and is often associated with growth. Green is the color of the heart chakra. A green shade to your mood ring might indicate a healing time, a feeling of love, etc. It is generally considered the “average” color for a mood ring.
* Blue is generally regarding as indicating a relaxed mood, someone who is at ease. As blue is also the color associated with the throat chakra, this shade may appear at a time when you are vocally struggling or vocally asserting yourself.
* White is typically associated with feelings of being frustrated, confused or bored but, in my experience, white is also a color that can indicate very high spiritual energies so if you are not frustrated, confused or bored, don't let the mood ring tell you that it is a negative expression: it could be crown chakra energies expanding or integrating at a spiritual level.
* Other colors generally described are pink (fear, or in cases where spiritual acceleration of the heart chakra are evident, pink can indicate the opening of the spiritual heart chakra center), purple (sensuality), orange (a state of wanting something), etc.

So is mine except my was green like what 10 minutes ago!
May 29th, 2009 at 8:31 am
yes… but it also changes from the weather too… because your body temerature changes with the temperature outside of your body. So, the mood ring may turn purple because it's hot outside and your body temerature went up so the ring reacts to it and turns it purple thinking you are in love.
May 29th, 2009 at 8:33 am

When you have a pet at home, you should also make sure that is gets all the nourishment it needs. Making sure that you feed your pet with healthy food at all times can do this. But it is difficult to understand what can be diamond kitty described as healthy food for a cat.

In fact all of these answers are wrong. Why? Because it's a fact that different mood rings have different color meanings. I have 3 mood rings and one of them, the one i just bought recently says the following -
Black:Angry
Brown:Rebellious
Light green:Romantic
Green:Passionate
Light blue:Calm
Blue:Happy
Purple:Stressed
Pink:Anxious
Plus my other ones says all the opposites plus usually have nothing to do with my new one!

A simple color wheel chart is either an organization illustrative summary of shades of color around a circle, that define the relationship between true primary colors chart, secondary colors, complimentary colors chart, etc or a mechanical device(color wheels) that rotates a series of wheel chart colors and gradients arranged like petals around an axis.
